President’s Message
“Education is the manifestation of the inner perfection of a man”
With the aim of building an educational institution in Bolpur, a coaching center “Vivekananda Education Center” was opened in the year 2007. Through various setbacks, the coaching center has been known since 2010 in a rented house in Shuripara near Bolpur station. Also, on Swamiji’s birthday, ‘Vivek Utsav 2010’ was organized in the garden of Dr. Shubhankar Ghosh Mahashay. Then the awarding of scholarships through the “English Spelling Competition” continued every year.
On January 23, 2013, Swamiji’s birth anniversary and Netaji’s birthday, the portraits of Thakurama and Swamiji were replaced at Amarendranath Mandal Mahashay’s house through pooja and Homam. A nursery school was also started that year. Our organization’s registry was done in May 2013. Then the journey began. Along with that, 10 poor students are kept and study arrangements are made Three lands were discovered by April. At the end of the 1st Baisakh, Shri Barka Saren Mahashay inaugurated the Ashram in Mirzapur.
Then it was planned to build a multipurpose educational institution named “The Vivekananda Educational Cultural and Social Institution”.
