Tree Plantation Program

We are well aware of the climatic changes happening worldwide. It is devastating to witness the harsh consequences everyone is facing, including serious health deterioration and ruthless natural disasters. Growing concerns have evaluated that one of the common factors of this harmful change is deforestation.

To combat the extending irresponsibilities in an overpopulated country like India, we have begun our operative measures to reduce deforestation and focus on planting myriads of trees

with the motive to protect future generations. On every occasion along with the global tree plantation day on the 21st of March, we distribute saplings to our members as well as the poor people we are working for and simultaneously spread awareness to educate them about the importance of afforestation.

The results are positive as we’ve seen more people encourage each other but somewhere in our hearts, we know that this is just the beginning and we’ve to cross another thousand miles to reach our final destination.

Independence Day

We celebrate Independence Day on 15th August every year through a cultural program organized by BVESRD members. Independence Day is a day to remember the heroic martyrs of our country and their sacrifices. To celebrate this independence, with the help of some children and villagers we organize some inspirational plays and events. On this day we also distribute sweets and food to underprivileged children at the end of the cultural function.

Ramkrishna’s Birth Anniversary

Every year we celebrate Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa’s birth anniversary on the 18th of February to commemorate his spiritual journey at Rani Rashmoni’s Dakshineshwar Kali Temple. In our Hindu religion, we wholeheartedly respect him as our “guru” or teacher.

On this holistic occasion, we manifest our prayers in the hope that these innocent lives make a way out of their deepest misery. We also encourage interested women to sing any spiritual song of their choice.

Maa Sarada’s Birth Anniversary

Born on the 22nd of December, Ma Sarada is worshiped as a holy mother by the devotees of Shri Ramakrishna. Our trust celebrates this day marvelously. Eye-catching traditional performances executed by our very own members along with talented indigent children make the day even more special. At last, the audience and the participants are presented with sumptuous food as a token of love by our organization.

Swami Vivekananda’s Birthday

We celebrate the great Swami Vivekananda’s birthday on the 12thy of January every year, continuing since the year 2007. He was a reformer who combined our Indian spiritual thoughts with the ongoing western progress. To commemorate his immortal values we organize special events where we encourage underprivileged children to come forward and perform what they love doing the most, which includes dance, recitation, and plays highlighting his contributions to human development and evolution over the years.

Kalpatoru Utsav

We celebrate Kalpatoru Utsav impressively to commemorate the significance of Ramakrishna, and the specialty of this day. Huge crowds of people gather to show their respect. We organize various cultural events where everyone participates and performs their hearts out. It is exhilarating to see the villagers smile wholeheartedly and engross themselves in the celebration happily.
